What this is
A Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is a contractual document that supplements the Terms of Service and governs how Post Slate processes personal data on your behalf. Post Slate's standard DPA addresses GDPR Article 28 controller–processor obligations, sub-processor disclosures (including the AI services described in the Privacy Policy), security measures, breach notification timelines, and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international transfers.
Who needs one
- Enterprise customers running compliance audits or vendor reviews.
- Organizations subject to GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), PIPEDA (Canada), LGPD (Brazil), or similar regimes.
- Agencies processing video content on behalf of regulated clients (healthcare, finance, education, government).
How to request
Email hello@postslate.com with the subject [DPA] {Company name}. Include the legal entity name, jurisdiction, and a contact for execution. We typically return a countersigned DPA within 5 business days. For non-standard terms or custom data-handling restrictions (including restricted use of certain sub-processors), reply with the proposed redlines and we'll route to counsel.
